Our Story

Hi, and welcome! I'm Fraya, the founder of FRESH by Fraya. I'm a working mom of 3, who would not be here today without the help of both coffee and wine! I have always been a jewelry addict and love to change my jewelry up daily. Sometimes, simple, sometimes classy and sophisticated and my favorite, bold and playful! With my crazy busy life, if I am able to get out of my sweats, the ability to add a bracelet stack, earrings or necklace that completely changes my T-shirt and jeans go to into a stylish look is everything! I'm not going to lie, I've also found that throwing on some jewelry with my leggings and sweatshirt gives it style and disguises the fact that I am still in my pajamas in public.

I began getting frustrated shopping at the same stores, spending money on the same jewelry as everyone else and seeing the same things over and over, so I started to make my own jewelry a few years back as a hobby. It was a great escape as the kids wanted absolutely nothing to do with it.  I found myself spending more and more quality time with my beads and my wine in the office that I had taken over and had now become my jewelry studio. I began perfecting the craft, learning so much and building up my jewelry collection. People began commenting on and asking about my jewelry quite often, which was a great distraction from the fact that I had probably forgotten to put on makeup. I began to think about selling it. I was reluctant as I am not a salesperson by any means. With a massive collection building and a push from friends and family, mostly my husband wanting me to get rid of some of the jewelry that had begun taking over the house,  I bravely dove into the world of selling my jewelry. I actually found it easier than I had thought to sell my products as I truly believed in them. I make them, I wear them and I would never want to sell something to anyone that I couldn't stand behind or wouldn't purchase myself.

Over a year later, I had no idea how fun, exciting and big this adventure would turn out. Now I am finally doing something that I absolutely love and getting to share it with others. It brings me great joy to see others wearing my jewelry and working through me to create their own styles and personalization. Sharing my ideas and creations with you and/or making yours come to life is my passion. We each have our own unique styles and tastes and I am positive that we have or can, create something for anyone, any age, any style, and any budget. That is my mission!

As our product lines and business continue to grow I remain absolutely committed to continuing to create and offer first-rate products and exceptional customer service. I take great pride in each piece that I create and only use and curate quality products. The heart and soul of this business are my customers and I treat them like family.  I do not want to be the face of the brand but rather to be the face behind the brand and to have my customers shine and tell my story.
